Terms and Conditions 
Responsibility for True Luxury Tours Only

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between True Luxury Tours of India (herein after referred to as TLT) and you, the purchaser and/or traveler, and they apply solely to the True Luxury  Tours as published by TLT.  No alterations to these terms and conditions may be made by any TLT employee, authorized representative or agent, unless in writing by a partner of TLT. A partner of TLT shall make all decisions and matters subject to TLT discretion.

Payments and Documentation

An advance payment of $1,000 per person is required to effect reservations more than 30 days prior to departure. Final payment is due 10-days prior to departure. Airline tickets and documents within India will be delivered the day of your arrival in India. International airline tickets are not included in TRT tour pricing.


Late Bookings

Bookings made within 23 days of departure are subject to a USD $100.00 per person late booking fee due to the increase cost of purchasing domestic airline tickets within India. Prospective clients are advised to reserve early to avoid any disappointment.


Participation

Persons not fit for long trips due to heart disease, chronic illness, physical handicap; advanced pregnancy or mental illness should not participate in these rigorous travel programs. No more than 8 persons are booked on each TRT tour.


Departures Dates and Prices

The tours in this website are scheduled to operate through March 2007, Prices shown herein are based on tariffs, exchange rates, accommodation costs, domestic travel costs both by land and by air, cuisine, wine and hard alcohol, jungle transport and viewing costs, local telephone calls,  internet costs, and laundry services excluding dry-cleaning.


Not Included in Tour Costs

Fees for obtaining passports or visas, excess baggage charges, inoculations, accident or baggage insurance, International airline tickets and taxes, airport departure taxes that are not included in the airline ticket, optional tours, any items of a personal nature, such as International phone calls, faxes or room service; excess mileage carried out at the request of the passenger or transportation not specifically listed as included.


Alterations to Tours

TLT reserves the right to alter or modify the itinerary of any tour, if air schedule or surface transportation charges, security matters and/or events beyond its control make such alterations necessary.


Cancellation

Cancellation penalties imposed on TLT by its suppliers are stringent. The following terms apply effective as of the date TLT receives written notice of cancellation.

  • 180 days or more prior to departure - $50.00 per person

  • 179 -- 91 days prior to departure - 10% of the tour cost, per person

  • 90 -- 46 days prior to departure date - 25% of the tour cost, per person

  • 45 -- 15 days prior to departure date - 40% of the tour cost, per person

  • 14 days or less prior to departure date - 100% of tour cost to include handling fee and liquidated damages for TLT.


Refund of Unused Arrangements

As TLT prices are based on contract rates, if you cancel while the tour is in progress, there will not be any refund for the unused portion.


Alterations to Confirmed Bookings

If you decide to change any portion of your confirmed arrangements up to 35 days prior to departure, we will try to assist you at an administrative charge of $150.00 per change. Changes within 45 days will be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
