An exclusive agreement between the
Jagirdar (Count) of Dhariyawad and True Luxury Tours has opened the
virgin Sita Mata Jungle to wildlife safaris during the day by foot
and by jeep for evening safaris. Our trained staff accompanies you
with guards while you walk through this untouched virgin Jungle. The
Dhariyawad Estate is a four-hour journey form Mumbai and is the
private property of the Jagirdar. The Jagirdar owns large areas of
private Jungle lands that are now open for safari for our guests.
After your walking safari private formal set lunches are served to
you inside the Jungle core with the finest local and International
cuisine and rare wines.
Two years of preparation by True Luxury
Tours on the Sita Mata Jungle flora and fauna was researched, on
site, so that we could show our guests a truly rare wildlife
experience available in India. Only three properties in India are
open to jungle wildlife safaris by foot and two of these properties,
the Jalore Safari Campsite and the Sita Mata Jungle Safari, are owned
and operated by True Luxury Tours. Your safari by foot to the
wildlife locations within the Sita Mata Jungle are to the areas where
your chance to see rare flora and fauna is at it's highest. Your
evening safari is by jeep to view the IUCN red listed critically
endangered Namdapha Indian Flying Squirrel (less than 100 are in
existence), Panther, Jungle Cats, the rare Four-Horned Antelope,
Jackal, and the rare White Jungle Fox.
